Day Pupils at OBH

Day and boarding pupils share the same schedule during the day which begins at 8.20am.

Day pupils in the middle school (Years 3 – 4) may be collected at 4.20pm when they will take home a half an hour prep activity or stay at school until 5.40pm when they will complete their prep before enjoying an activity such as uni-hoc or swinging on ropes or climbing through tyres on Rory’s Place.  Those in the senior school (Years 5 – 8) are encouraged to remain at school to complete an hour’s prep each weekday evening (except Wednesday).

In order to help day pupils get to school, OBH operates a mini-bus service. For more details please click here.

Thinking about Boarding?

Pupils in the Middle School have the option to board at OBH, either as a transitional, weekly or 11 day boarder. Transitional boarders can stay 2 or 3 nights
during week, whilst weekly boarders stay five nights and go home at the weekend.

Boarding options in Year 6 remain the same as for the Middle School but those in Years 7 & 8 can embark on their boarding journey at any point in the last 2 years – starting as a transitional, building to weekly and then 11 day boarding.
