Nursery

The purpose built Nursery is to be found in the Pre-Prep Department of the school. Well equipped, light and spacious, the children enjoy a friendly and stimulating environment in which they are encouraged to achieve and develop their potential in preparation for entry into the Reception class.

The secure surroundings of the Walled Garden provide the perfect outdoor play area which has been furnished particularly for our very youngest members of the school.

The Nursery provides a rich variety of opportunities through which the children develop independence and confidence. The Foundation Stage curriculum is based on learning through play, talk and new experiences covering areas such as personal, social and emotional development; communication; language and literacy; problem solving, reasoning and numeracy.

Children enter Nursery when they reach the age of three. The school participates in the Early Education Grant vouchers for children between the ages of three and five.
