Work, Fun and Play

The range and depth of achievement both in and out of the classroom is due in no small part to the sense of community which extends throughout
the school.

The Headmaster and his wife and several members of staff live within the school creating a supportive, nurturing environment for the children in their care. Children are encouraged to explore their potential wherever their talent may lie, whether that is academically, on the sports field, in music
or indeed on stage.

There is no shortage of fun outside the classroom and both day and boarding children take part in a range of timetabled activities on a Monday afternoon – from sport, art, speech and drama, horseriding or orienteering to the explosions club. There is no excuse for boredom!
