The
purpose-built Nursery is housed in the Pre-Prep Department of the
School. It is well-equipped and children enjoy a friendly and
stimulating environment in which they are encouraged to achieve their
potential in preparation for entry to the Reception Class, the first
year of the Pre-Prep.
Break times are spent in the secure surroundings of the Old Walled Garden which has been furnished to meet the requirements of little people. Children enter the Nursery in the January, April or September following their second birthday. Most children in the Nursery continue through the Pre-Prep into the Prep School but it is not a condition of entry. However, in the event of a shortage of Nursery places, preference will be given to children entered for the Pre-Prep.
