On Sunday after a wonderful Church service where the sermon was given by Brian Cunningham, Chaplain at Oundle School, 20 teams took part in the Parents’ & Pupils clay pigeon shooting tournament. This year Rory Hunnable and his father Julian regained the trophy having narrowly lost it last year having won it in 2010. Second were Hugh Stanton and his father Will who just beat Mr Drake and Archie Dixon-Smith into 3rd place.
After a great lunch for all the competitors many of the children then played in the Inter House squash and table tennis. Both were won by Mars with the individual trophies being won by Oscar Butcher beating Archie Maxwell in the final of the squash and Toby Rix beating Charlie Turner in the final of the table tennis. Meanwhile many of the children were enjoying time in the Art room where they had a chance to paint on a blank canvas.
