On Friday 7th November La Trinite will be performing an hour long recital from 7:30pm in the Britten Hall. They will be performing the incredible work Quartet for the End of Time by Olivier Messaien, a work written as a prisoner of war in Stalag VIII and premiered by the composer along with fellow musicians who were likewise prisoners in the same camp.
La Trinite is made up of some of the finest ensemble and solo musicians in the country who also happen to be heads of the various instrumental studies at Uppingham School. There will be an opportunity for parents of children who considering Uppingham as a prospective Senior School to chat with the teachers and to Charlie Bostock, Registrar at Uppingham before and after the concert if you so wish.
This promises to be an incredible concert and I would love to have a large audience to support. Tickets are available from the school website or from the school office.
