OBH is very much looking forward to welcoming all the teams on Sunday for the annual OBH Sevens which promises to be an excellent morning of rugby. We have teams from Ipswich, Sudbury RFC, Langley School, South Lee, Barnardiston, St. John’s, The Abbey, Dame Bradbury’s and Finborough.
Regardless of whether your son is participating all parents are welcome to join us.
On Sunday the 9th, OBH hosted an U11 boys football match and our first ever U13 girls football match against Boxford Rovers on the new astro at school. It was a pleasure to see so many boys and girls enjoying our new facilities and playing the game in the right spirit. The conditions were perfect, with the emphasis on fun and enjoyment. The matches were keenly contested with both sides working hard. The girls’ individual skills improved throughout their match with both sides playing some fast flowing football at times.
Our thanks go to Boxford and Barry Green for helping us organise the fixture; we hope that it is the first of many.
We appear to have had some technical difficulties with the team sheets this week, which we are looking into. Please see below the information for this afternoons training games. We have mixed up the boys so that we have two equal sides, they are not classified as a B or a C team, just team 1 and team 2. The afternoon is designed to give the boys who have not had as much match practice a chance to play.

As I will be away at Brandeston, Mr Dan Sharpe will be in charge of the afternoons matches.
We have invited South Lee and Orwell Park to come and have some training matches with us on Wednesday 12th November.
The idea is to give the boys who have had less match practice a chance to play against two other schools in a mini quadrangular. The boys who are not travelling to Brandeston on Wednesday will be playing.

3.00 Orwell Park and South Lee (Main astro)
