Year 7 Scholarship Day

OBH Clay Pigeon Parent & Pupil Shoot

For those parents who have not yet signed up for this exciting event please complete the form by going to http://goo.gl/forms/1KZcPoCfCM

The format has slightly changed from previous years:

There will be five stands for parents to shoot 10 clays and children to shoot 5 clays, the highest combined parent and child scores will win the Shooting Shield.

There will also be a pull trap stand where the entry fee will be £10 for 25 clays. The highest score on the day will collect a £100 prize, in the event of a draw there will be a shoot off!

After the competition, roast Lunch (with wine) will be served at 1.30 pm (timings will be subject to change depending on the level of entries). Non-competitors are very welcome to join us for lunch.

The entry fee this year is £45 a team (parent and child) this includes scorers, trap rental, coaches time, lunch and clays but excludes cartridges.

Please feel free to bring your own cartridges but the maximum load permitted is 28g – failure to abide by this will result in disqualification. Cartridges will be on sale on the day and we would appreciate it if you could pay with cash or cheque.

Girls Sporting success

Many congratulations to Flossie Myers who came 24th in the Suffolk Final County trial (known as the B race) on Thursday. Flossie has trained very hard over the last few months and we are all very proud of her achievements as she was competing a year young for her race. Well done Flossie!

Many congratulations to Fenella Jewers who has been selected for the Suffolk Development Netball Squad during the Christmas holidays. As she is the youngest by two years this is a particularly impressive achievement.

Well done, girls!

Pre Season Training

Happy New Year to you all!

We are very much looking forward to seeing you tomorrow at Pre-season training. The session will aim to start at 2pm with a finish time of 4pm. I would advise that the children are equipped with water proof clothing, tracksuits, any other warm clothing, and a water bottle for the session. Please note that gum shields and shin pads are compulsory for the hockey sessions.

Any further details or changes to these timings will appear on the school website, so please do check before leaving.

We look forward to seeing you tomorrow,

Best wishes,

Nick Drake
