It was bitterly cold on Saturday night but we all braved the chilly wind to stand by the bonfire to watch the amazing firework display. During the week the children had made the guy for the top of the bonfire as well as some pumpkins which lit the drive-way. The bonfire was lit by Madison and who were both very excited to have been given this honour. The food stall was manned by the Friends of OBH and all the boarders spent their pocket money on treats and glow-sticks. It was good to see so many parents there supporting the event.
On Sunday we had a PJ brekkie and enjoyed a leisurely full English breakfast. We then changed into our Sunday best and attended the Family Communion service at Brettenham Church. Several boarders opted for a lovely autumnal walk back to school with Tracey and Mrs Warren. After a delicious Sunday roast and apple crumble we headed off to Curve Motion where the boarders had a blast either roller skating or playing in the soft-play area. The busy weekend was rounded off with a film and a visit to the tuck shop.
