‘Ready Steady Cook Goes Wild’ & ‘Street Dance Fest’

On Saturday night the boarders were treated to slow cooked pork. Mr. Drake was up at 6.00am to light the firepit in the outdoor classroom where the pork cooked all day. All agreed it was simply delicious. Marshmallows were toasted, hot chocolate was drunk and a sing-song (apparently started by our Headmaster) was enjoyed by everyone. All were warm and toasty as the most enormous campfire was kept going by Mr Drake!
On Sunday after church the boarders learnt an amazing Street Dance routine which was choreographed and taught by a specialist dance teacher. After which a dance off ensued and there were some amazing moves, including the caterpillar, the tut, the bop, the snap, and the pop ‘n’ lock. We hope to arrange some more weekend dance classes with Josie, as the children were all raving about it! Film night and tuck
swiftly followed at the end of a very busy weekend.
