On the Friday of half term the Year 8 boys and girls embarked on the first of their training exercises, before their Gold Expedition in the summer. The aim was simply to cover as many km in six hours as possible, carrying their own provisions and navigating along the way. The weather stayed on our side and I am pleased to say that the navigations was accurate and at 3.00 pm the Year 8s walked through the OBH gates having covered a little over 18.5 km.
A great effort by them all!
