On Saturday night the boarders were treated to an evening stuffed with Chilli and Chocolate. The meal was
lovingly prepared by the kitchen and the children raved about the soft tortillas stuffed with chilli con carne, guacamole, and extra chillies! For pudding we had chocolate fondues, with fruit, biscuits and marshmallows for dipping in, at which point the dining room was silent! Yum!
After this, the children learnt how to make chocolate and chilli cookies, with our expert guide Sarah. Some groups were brave and added lots of spice to them and these sent many a child running for water and milk! It was lots of fun and the children experienced different levels of chilli crisps and even tried some amazing chilli chocolate.
On Sunday morning, some of the Year 8’s went to Rattlesden Church to help serve the breakfast, other boarders went to play rugby at Sudbury and the rest of the boarders attended the service at Brettenham Church.
In the afternoon, all the boarders were very excited to go to Jump Street, and had an excellent time. There were numerous attempts at the Wall, the Bag, the new Wipeout Spinner, and teams of OBH children took on the general public at dodgeball. All agreed it was a brilliant afternoon out.
