Krashball and Thorpeness Beach BBQ

The weekend boarders were treated to a fantastic weekend. The weather was kind to us and everyone had so much fun. The Year 8’s declared it the best “in weekend” ever. Saturday night was kicked off with Krashball, which if you have never seen it, is a combination of zorbing and football. It has to be said I have never laughed so much in all my life. Even Mr Miller got in on the act and sent Annabel our matron flying! Last man standing was won by Ed Collins. I think there will be a lot of unexplained bruises!

A glorious Sunday was spent playing Parents tennis & golf or Church and then after our fantastic Sunday Roast we piled into the mini-buses for a trip to Thorpeness. Boating on the Meare was the first activity, and although a few fell in, and a few swapped boats, most managed to stay dry! We then walked along the beach and had a yummy BBQ. Lots of the boys and girls took the opportunity to jump in the sea or play cricket on the beach. It was a truly fabulous weekend, only made possible by the exceptional behaviour of the boarders. Thank you for a great weekend.
