Boarders’ Trip to Wattisham Visitors’ Day

Wattisham Flying Station have kindly invited us to their Open Day. This annual event takes place within one of the hangars where visitors will be briefed and have the opportunity to look at an AH Apache, historical aircraft, military museum exhibits, a small arms display, drones, fire engines, and much more – in other words showcasing all that the Attack Helicopter Force do! All of Spero House are invited on this exciting summer outing; regardless of whether Wednesday is a normal boarding night. The event starts at 5.30pm and we would return to school just after 8.00pm. Everyone is welcome to stay the night in school.
The children will wear home clothes with an OBH hoodie or tracksuit top. Please could they have £5 pocket money to buy a drink and light refreshments. All proceeds from the sale of refreshments goes to a military charity.
