Mercury House Charity Day
24th May 2019
As part of our whole school charity work, Mercury house have chosen to support East Anglian Air Ambulance. Their mission is simple, ‘we want to save more loves by providing the best possible outcomes for patients involved in life-threatening incidents and minimising the impact of trauma in the communities we serve. ‘ This is a very worthwhile cause within our local area and one that Mercury House believe needs our support. A representative from the charity will be coming to talk to the school in assembly so that our children can gain a greater insight into the valuable work of East Anglian Air Ambulance.
As part of the charity day, Mercury House would like all pupils to dress in sports clothes for the day. This could include tennis kit, cricket whites or a simple football top. For this, we ask that £1 be added to your bill which will go directly towards the valuable work of our chosen charity.
Ice creams will also be served at pick time up time at three stations set up in the Pre-Prep, Stable Yard and at the front of school. Mercury children and staff will be helping to serve the ice creams and special toppings, each costing £1. They will also have the chance to look at merchandise provided by East Anglian Air Ambulance. If you wish your child to buy an ice cream and/or merchandise, please bring £2 which can be handed to their form teacher on Friday morning.
We are delighted to support this charity by raising their profile amongst our children as well as raising and contributing a donation to this very worthy cause.
