Saturn House Charity Day
4th July 2019
Children may come to school wearing home clothes with a holiday theme for which £1 will be added to their school bill.
8.30am House Assembly – The House charity being supported is the Little Princess Trust which makes wigs for children and young people effected by chemotherapy.
12.45pm Lunch – Saturn will sit in decorated area of dining room or at the picnic tables (weather permitting).
1.30pm Lunch Break – Buckets and sponges will be available for washing cars. Anyone wishing to have their car washed will be able to pay £3 for the privilege of having the children remove the mud and dust from their vehicles. We will take the greatest of care with all cars but ask you to remember that this is for charity!!! Cars should be parked in the main school car park.
3.00pm Leavers’ Service in Brettenham Church – all Year 8s involved
3.30pm Sponge throw – Enjoyed your classes this year? Think your teachers are awesome? Children will have the chance to throw wet sponges at some of the teachers. 50p per sponge. Pre-Prep will also have an opportunity of throwing some sponges during the day!
5.00-6.00pm Bake sale before the OBH Jamboree.
6.45 -7.15 pm Ice-creams on sale during the Jamboree interval to supplement the delicious picnics.
Because of the water games, please make sure all the children have some dry clothes to change into before the evening event.
Also PLEASE could all the wonderful bakers bring in some goodies for us to sell. The children love all the scrumptious cakes and biscuits!! Please could they be brought in on Thursday morning in clearly labelled containers and… please remember we are a nut-free school.
