More
Old Buckenham Hall is a traditional school with a long history of sending pupils to the best Public Schools in the United Kingdom such as Eton, Harrow, Uppingham, Oundle, Oakham, Stowe, Benenden, Rugby and Wycombe Abbey.
Our aim is to integrate international pupils quickly, enabling them to access the Common Entrance curriculum as effectively as possible.
OBH is a friendly, family – oriented school where children benefit from living in 80 acres of rural Suffolk. We only accept a small number of international pupils each year; during their time at OBH these pupils quickly establish new friendships and are often invited to stay with their friends and families on home weekends.
All prospective pupils are required to sit an English language assessment to establish their current level of English. This will be followed by a Skype interview with the pupil, where there will also be the opportunity for the family to ask questions.
The school does not take any responsibility for accommodation or lodgings at exeat weekends, or during the half term holidays. Parents who wish for their son or daughter to stay with another pupil’s family must arrange this themselves. The school is able to give parents the names of guardianship organisations, but the parent is responsible for satisfying themselves that any arrangements are suitable, and any contract is between the parent and the guardianship organisation.
If you are interested in joining our school, please contact our International Registrar,
