OBH Shortlisted for two Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2022

We are thrilled to announce we have been shortlisted for two Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2022!

  • Independent Pre Prep School of the Year
  •  Independent Prep School of the Year

Since the awards were launched in 2018, their purpose has always been to highlight the excellence of the student experience offered by the UK’s amazing independent schools. On the evidence of the 2022 submissions, the independent school sector in Britain has surged back from the impact of COVID, with rising demand for places across the country.

This year there were 22 award categories, designed to reflect the breadth and diversity of life as a student in the independent education sector.

The awards will be chaired once again by Dr Helen Wright, international education adviser and past Vice Chair of the ISC, supported by a panel of judges which includes leading Head Teachers and representatives of the professional associations.

Helen Wright comments:

“I am so pleased to be chairing the judging panel for the Independent Schools of the Year for a fifth time.

I hope that the awards will provide schools an opportunity to take stock of all they have achieved in 2021-22 – often in challenging circumstances – and celebrate the amazing student experience they have continued to be able to provide.

These highly-regarded awards recognise and celebrate the amazing experiences and opportunities for students in independent schools across the UK and British schools overseas.”

A list of Finalists will be published on 7 September and the winners, chosen by the Independent Schools of the Year judging panel will be announced at an awards ceremony in October.

Fingers crossed for us…
