Safeguarding at Old Buckenham Hall

The first duty of any school is to ensure that children are safe from harm. At Old Buckenham Hall this is absolutely the case, whether they are full boarders in the Upper School, or have just started their first day in the Nursery. All safeguarding policies and documents are reviewed annually, staff receive regular training, and it is an essential element of all recruitment and induction processes.

• Mrs Emma Easdale is the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the whole school, including Early Years.

• Alternate DSLs are Mr James Large, Headmaster; Mr Graham Drury, Deputy Head Pastoral; Mrs Ellie Bale, Head of Pre-Prep; Mr Andrew Swiney, Head of Boarding and E-safety Lead.

• Mrs Sally Greenlees is the Safeguarding Governor.
