Early Years Funding
Old Buckenham Hall offers government-funded childcare for both the universal 15-hour and extended 30-hour schemes for eligible three and four-year-olds during term-time. This funding is available from the term after your child's third birthday, up to and including the term of their fifth birthday—which may include part or all of their Reception year. We also provide up to 30 hours of term-time funding for eligible working parents of two-year-olds.
Funding is applied to the morning and afternoon Nursery sessions (3 hours per session) and is not redeemable against lunchtime sessions.
Owls – Extended Care (VAT Exempt)
Extended care is available from Nursery until Year 2.

Day Fees (incl. VAT)
Day fees include Saturday School for Years 5 – 8, lunch, snacks, curricular trips and most on-site group activities. Children are welcome to stay for supper for an additional charge.

Boarding Fees (incl.VAT)
Boarding Fees also include Saturday School for Years 5 – 8, all meals, snacks, curricular trips and most on-site group activities.

Boarding fees include a reserved bed each night, including weekends during term time for Full UK and International Boarders. Boarding Fees for UK Weekly Boarders include boarding on alternate Friday nights (on weeks with Saturday school).
OBH is pleased to offer Flexi-Boarding, whereby pupils can stay at OBH for between 2 to 4 nights a week. This offers pupils the chance to experience boarding in a way that works for your family. We facilitate regular boarder taster nights to allow children to experience what a night boarding at OBH looks like.
Flexi-Boarding Fees are payable in advance of each term, for fixed specified nights. The full amount is payable whether occupied or not. Please contact [email protected] to discuss flexi-boarding and associated fees in more detail.
Ad hoc nights can be added (depending on availability) for a per night rate of £66 incl. VAT (all years).
As a member of the Rugby School Group, OBH now offer a boarding pathway for families considering Rugby School as a senior school destination. Please see here for more details.

Military and FCDO Families
Old Buckenham Hall has a proud, long-standing tradition of supporting Service and Diplomatic families. In recognition of this commitment, we offer significant financial support and educational stability:
-
Enhanced Fee Remission (CEA): We are a "10% School," offering enhanced support to families in receipt of the Continuity of Education Allowance (CEA). For entry in September 2026 and beyond, eligible families are only required to pay the minimum 10% parental contribution of the published gross full boarding fee.
-
Military Personnel Discount: For serving personnel not in receipt of CEA, a 20% reduction of the school fee is offered for children of actively-serving military personnel.
-
The CEA Boarding Pathway to Rugby School: As a member of the Rugby School Group, we offer a seamless boarding pathway for families seeking long-term stability through to age 18. Students attending OBH for at least two years may be eligible to carry their allowance-linked support through to Rugby School.
